Five Thai nationals released by Hamas as part of a ceasefire deal with Israel return home to emotional reunions with family. The men had been working in southern Israel when they were abducted by Hamas militants during the attack on 7 October 2023. A total of 31 Thai nationals were taken hostage, with 23 of them released in 2023, and two confirmed dead several months later. One Thai worker is still believed to be alive in Gaza
