Thousands of Chinese students take part in night cycle ride in search of dumplings – video
Students, mostly on public share bikes, rode several hours through Henan province from their campuses in Zhengzhou to the ancient city of Kaifeng, singing and cheering on the way. The trend started in June when four Zhengzhou university students decided to ride several hours to Kaifeng and has grown to tens of thousands of people. Authorities have begun taking measures to stop the students following complaints by people in Kaifeng, a city famous for its oversized soup dumpling, about feeling overwhelmed by the incoming cyclists
