Pod of orcas trapped in drift ice off Japanese coast – video
Footage aired by the Japanese broadcaster NHK shows a pod of orcas, also known as killer whales, apparently trapped in drift ice off the coast of Hokkaido. At least 10 were seen poking out of a small gap in the surface and struggling for air
