India launches space mission to the sun – video
India has launched a spacecraft towards the sun in the latest mission of its ambitious space programme. The launch comes a week after the country’s successful unmanned moon landing. Aditya-L1 launched with a live broadcast, showing the vessel making its way to the upper reaches of the Earth’s atmosphere.
