Two cases emerge in rural town further south, sparking concerns local health services could be overwhelmed
New Zealand has reported 13 new cases of coronavirus, with two cases emerging far from Auckland, the original site of the country’s outbreak.
The two cases were linked to the Auckland outbreak and occurred in the Waikato town of Tokoroa, 200km south of New Zealand’s biggest city, bringing the total size of the cluster to 30. One person was being treated in hospital.
