That day police shot a protester with live ammunition for the first time, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/video\/2019\/oct\/01\/hong-kong-protester-shot-as-china-national-day-demostrations-intensify-video\">seriously injuring<\/a> the teenager.
