Pakistan, it seemed, had used Chinese jets to shoot down India\u2019s planes.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, India launched missiles at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2025\/may\/06\/pakistan-vows-to-retaliate-after-wave-of-indian-missiles-hit-country\">Pakistan<\/a>, in retaliation for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2025\/apr\/22\/tourists-killed-by-suspected-militants-in-kashmir-attack\">a militant attack in Indian-administered Kashmir<\/a> in April that killed 26 people.
