At the Boao Forum for Asia, a conference in south China\u2019s Hainan province, Chinese officials and academics stressed the need for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/article\/2024\/jul\/03\/xi-jinping-central-asia-trip-china-vies-regional-influence-russia\">partnerships with global south countries<\/a>.
