Running down five flights of stairs, she headed outdoors to seek safety from falling objects.<\/p>\n<p>Hsu lives in Hualien, a busy tourist city on Taiwan\u2019s east coast, where the 7.2-magnitude quake <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2024\/apr\/03\/taiwan-earthquake-magnitude-tsunami-warning-japan-okinawa\">struck on Wednesday morning<\/a>.
