Japan has a rapidly ageing society<\/p>\n<p>A nappy manufacturer in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/japan\">Japan<\/a> is to stop making the products for babies and instead raise production of adult diapers, in a reflection of the country\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2022\/nov\/19\/fear-older-future-japan-south-korea-birth-fertility-rates-population\">rapidly ageing society<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Oji Holdings, which specialises in paper products, said it would stop making children\u2019s nappies in September amid a sharp decline in demand.
