But this was not 1990, nor 1997 nor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2013\/may\/13\/pakistan-elections-nawaz-sharif-imran-khan\">2013<\/a> \u2013 the three previous occasions that Sharif was elected prime minister.
