Flown to Beijing by the Chinese government, she was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=KH8aI1tODgU\">greeted with an honour guard<\/a> and banquet and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailystar.net\/politics\/bangladesh-pm-sheikh-hasina-reaches-china-beijing-1766014\">received by <\/a>the president, Xi Jinping, and the prime minister, Li Keqiang. Three days later, she returned to her capital, Dhaka, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orfonline.org\/expert-speak\/prime-minister-sheikh-hasinas-visit-enhances-china-and-bangladesh-relations-53142\/#:~:text=The%20visit%20was%20the%20consolation%20of%20the%20bonhom,and%20technical%20cooperation%2C%20investment%2C%20power%2C%20culture%2C%20and%20tourism\">nine agreements<\/a> worth billions of dollars to build power plants and provide other development assistance.<\/p>\n<p>Hasina\u2019s short visit <a href=\"https:\/\/thediplomat.com\/2019\/07\/how-bangladesh-learned-to-love-the-belt-and-road\/\">benefited both countries<\/a>.
