Sixty-five per cent of voting-age New Zealanders <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2020\/oct\/30\/new-zealand-votes-to-legalise-euthanasia-but-against-legalising-cannabis-in-referendum\">voted in favour<\/a> of legalising assisted dying, joining just a handful of countries that allow it.<\/p>\n<p>This story has been updated to reflect the most recent data from New Zealand\u2019s Ministry of Health, as of 7 February.
