He would have participated in the weeks and months of destruction and despoliation \u2013 of people, property and cultivations \u2013 that followed.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew remained at Parihaka \u2013 which is on the west coast of the North Island of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/newzealand\">Aotearoa New Zealand<\/a> \u2013 as part of the Armed Constabulary\u2019s occupying force until late 1884.
