The Aukus deal<\/a> has left the French political class seething<\/a> at Joe Biden\u2019s Trumpian unilateralism, Australian two-facedness and the usual British perfidy. \u201cNothing was done by sneaking behind anyone\u2019s back,\u201d assured the British defence minister, Ben Wallace, in an attempt to soothe the row.
